Mono Wingman Electric Bass Case Reviews 1

Touted as a "hybrid case," lightweight, made of high-tech materials, offering as much or more protection as a standard hard case. I've played bass for 45 years, mostly classic rock, reggae, blues, etc. I have a '64 Fender Jazz and a Euphonic Audio Wizzy 500 amp. (Love the amp but that's another story.) Currently in two bands, own a recording studio.

From mfg. website, $170 plus shipping and tax, received yesterday (and sent back today).

Made of good quality materials.

Not a "hybrid case," but an over-hyped and pricey gig bag. Both on the website and via email, the mfg. told me that this was the ultimate in protection for a treasured axe. Rep actually told me via email that it was designed to be loaded in and out of the back of a truck with amps etc. Not so. It's just a soft and floppy padded gig bag, not nearly the protection I need for loading in and out of a van in strange places at strange hours.

Well made for a gig bag. Tough outer fabric, soft inner lining, good handle, heavy duty zipper, backpack straps that tuck away.

Do to the company's hype bordering on misinformation, I paid $30 to ship it here and back. If they'd told me it was a gig bag and that's what I wanted, I would have been happy with it. But as a "hybrid case," it gets a very low rating. If you want to protect your axe, this product won't do the job.
